APPLICATIONS  FOR THIS YEAR'S INTAKE WILL OPEN IN EARLY 2019

If you're currently studying towards an IT or computer science degree have you considered doing an Industrial Placement? A great chance to learn on the job skills, work on real projects and get paid a salary.

HMRC digital Industrial Placements

Our HMRC digital 2019 Industrial Placement Scheme will be open for applications soon. We're just busy finalising which roles will be available in which locations. The placements will start in September 2019.

This year we'll have

  • 25 placements on offer
  • In different locations such as Newcastle, Shipley, Telford, London, Southend and Worthing
  • Various roles, for example Cyber Analyst, Software Developer, Business Analyst and Architect

Each industrial placement will be employed for 9-12 months and earn a salary of £24,320 (National); £28,130 (London) pro rata.

Note - to be eligible, you must :

  • be studying towards a relevant IT/computing science degree
  • be fluent in English
  • be eligible to apply to the UK Civil Service.  In summary, only nationals from the following countries (or associations of countries) are generally eligible for employment in the Civil Service: the United Kingdom (and British protected persons), the Republic of Ireland, the Commonwealth, the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland and Turkey.
