HMRC digital Industrial Placements

Our HMRC digital 2018 Industrial Placement Scheme is open for applications until 9 March. The placements start in September 2018.

This year we've got

  • 25 places
  • In 6 locations - Newcastle, Shipley, Telford, London, Southend and Worthing
  • Various roles including Cyber Analyst, Software Developer, Business Analyst and Architect

Each industrial placement will be employed for 9-12 months and earn a salary of £23,836 (National); £27,554 (London) pro rata.

Note - to be eligible, you must :

  • be studying towards a relevant IT/computing science degree
  • be fluent in English
  • be eligible to apply to the UK Civil Service.  In summary, only nationals from the following countries (or associations of countries) are generally eligible for employment in the Civil Service: the United Kingdom (and British protected persons), the Republic of Ireland, the Commonwealth, the European Economic Area (EEA), Switzerland and Turkey.
