Rinse and repeat… Like to work on one of the globe’s boldest API models?

Hi, following my post last month I’m back blogging about recruitment again!

My teams and I have spent the last few weeks looking at how we scale up the delivery of our API Developer Hub and all the things that go with it. This includes:

  • supporting the delivery of the APIs we are delivering to the Hub, including ‘Making Tax Digital’
  • scaling and improving our operations so we can provide the support that software developers need
  • establishing a key customer relationship management function for software developers and other intermediaries who will be consuming our APIs.

We’ve designed an operating model we think will enable us to do all that, but it means we need more talented people to join our software developer collaboration teams to work on our pioneering API Programme.

2016 has been the year of getting real traction with HMRC’s third party tax software and API strategy and laying some key foundations, especially putting our API Developer Hub into public beta. I see 2017 shaping up to be the year we really accelerate our API services delivery. We’ve been working very hard on the Making Tax Digital APIs in a private beta with software developers, and these will move into public beta. And we have been establishing roadmap deliveries for both our API Developer Hub and API Services. More on that later.

So yes, we're recruiting (again) - but this time its bigger! We have vacancies across all our teams. And again, anyone can apply for these roles, including Civil Servants and non-Civil Servants. You’ll find all the details below (also on our current vacancies page) so please take a look at what’s on offer.
