We may have just the thing for you...
HMRC is undergoing one of the most ambitious and biggest digital transformations in government, making tax simpler and easier for our millions of customers. Underlying this transformation are our HMRC people, and to help them help our customers, we need to keep their systems digitally up to date and useful too.
We're looking for 9 Web Developers at 3 different levels of experience to join our team and take HMRC's internal digital service to the next level. We’re introducing exciting new features and functionality to our open source platform, and need help to develop and deliver new solutions for our own HMRC customers.
This is no mean feat. At the moment our site is
- available to 58,000 people
- who visit it 120,000 times each weekday
- making a total of 2-3 million hits per month
Our team’s main function is to improve the ease with which staff find and share information internally, and to continually adapt our internal digital channels to support the modern internal digital workplace.
Practically speaking, the work will range from designing and delivering websites, to designing and developing bespoke Drupal modules for our internal customers, to managing services like enterprise search.
The majority of our work is internal facing, but there are external projects we support, and we're responsible for the Tax Manuals service to GOV.UK too.
What more could you want? Oh, pay and stuff I guess. You'll find all the small print and details on how to apply by following the links below.
Look forward to hearing from you soon. You've got till 3 October 2016 to apply.
